Beautiful temple and surroundings. Must visit. Parking will be a headache. Road is a steep climb down and up. If u chose to go down the road by car u may be stuck in between due to cue. So better park in pay and park above . But if u have difficulty in walking climbing up to the pay and park will be a task.

Beautiful temple by the sea shore. Has a tall statue of Lord Gangadhareshwara which is unique. Temple has vibrant colours and presiding deities are Shiva, Parvati and Ganesha. The road approaching the temple is very steep.

The temple is just on the sea shore, with an adjoining small beach that will give you a feel of a private beach as there were very few people when we visited. It's a white sand beach with clean water.A paid shower booth is also available if you decide to explore the sea waters. We had great time and skipped visiting Kovalam beach after spending time here.
A very beautiful location & Temple. The Statue is the huge & artistic marvel having the sea in the background. The view from cafe (near parking) is lovely. Even though sun was bright, the climate was cool.

Azhimala Shiva Statue is a breathtaking masterpiece standing 18 meters tall, majestically overlooking the Arabian Sea 🌊. The statue's intricate details and serene expression are awe-inspiring, making it a must-visit for anyone in the area. The location is equally mesmerizing, especially during sunset ⛅️when the golden hues reflect off the sea, creating a truly magical experience. The combination of the towering statue, the tranquil sea, and the stunning sunset makes this place a perfect spot for both spiritual reflection and natural beauty. Highly recommend visiting .

The main attraction of the place is Shiva statue which is very marvellous. Located at beach side it is must watch in Trivandrum. The detailing provided in the statue need to be appreciated . Statue is opened throughout the day but you need to get a ticket of 20 rupees. You will get direct bus from East fort to Azhimala temple. Also you can take buses going to Poovar but you need to walk more than 1 km if you are taking this option.
